We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the successful execution of our technical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of technical concepts, and the ability to lead without authority and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, leadership, and clients.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones. Collaborate with engineering and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Drive the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality standards. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and understanding. Provide regular project updates to leadership, stakeholders, project teams and clients. Identify and manage project risks and proactively communicate mitigation plans. Resource Management:
Work closely with team leads to allocate resources effectively and ensure project teams have the necessary support. Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying areas for optimization and cost savings. Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. Conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables to ensure they meet established standards. Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance overall project efficiency. Collect and analyze project performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. At least 5-10 years of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager. Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development and engineering concepts, especially cloud technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and at all levels within the organization and with clients. Can do attitude and demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
