Field Service Engineer


Field Service Engineer- 75% National and International Travel
Provide customer field service and support with initial start-up assistance, electrical and mechanical support for new and existing equipment. Will be tasked with providing excellent customer service and bring first rate mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.

Develop and modify machine control programs including but not limited to, PLC's, HMI's, vision systems, robotic systems and motion control systems.
Create and modify panel layouts and wiring schematics using AutoCAD
Travel to customer sites to install new machines and troubleshoot and repair existing machines
Train customer personnel in the setup and use of equipment
Test and/or inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
Consult with engineering and production personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products
Thoroughly record and document changes to electrical, mechanical and programming changes made to serviced machines
Contribute to the continuous improvement of machine programs and designs by leveraging insights gained through field experience

Requires travel both domestic and international must have a PASSPORT
May occasionally span 2-3 weeks in Europe, Asia, Israel or India
Working knowledge and hands on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly as well as the ability to operate machine and hand tools; welding experience a plus
PLC and HMI programming skills with special emphasis on Allen Bradley and Siemens
Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to customer needs
AutoCAD experience with panel layouts and wiring schematics
Knowledge of motion control systems including servo motors, stepper motors and drives
Associates Degree w/ 5 years experience




Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
