Regional Sales Specialist
The Regional Sales Specialist is an essential part of the sales team and is responsible for the development of sales for Education Management Solution SIMULATIONiQ Product Line within their assigned territory.
Essential Functions
o Knowledgeable and understands the goals and priorities of the Company.
o Excellent communication skills to make professional presentations, establish one-on-one rapport, communicate well over the phone, email and in person. Be persuasive without being pushy.
o Develop and execute a territory sales strategy plan
o Achieve quarterly sales targets
o Proficiency in presenting EMS products
o Qualify and close sales opportunities
o Field initial prospect calls
o Outbound calls for prospecting
o Research markets and sales opportunities
o Assist in sales proposal development and writing of customer proposals
o Creating and deliver product demonstrations
o Maintain a "constant contact" schedule with all customers
o Coordinate and participate in trade shows as appropriate
o Create and maintain sales status of all prospects
o Maintain current account, contact and opportunity history in CRM
o Performs other duties as required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
o Good organizational skills
o Teamwork and integrity
o Good writing skills, good phone manner and interpersonal skills
o Reliable, time and deadline conscious
o Proven success in prospecting, qualifying and closing sales
o Up to 50% travel required
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
o BS degree preferred or equivalent technical experience; recent college graduates welcome
o Experience in medical, nursing and related education markets is a plus
o PC literate in Microsoft Office and CRM products
