Membership Associate

If you're a positive, enthusiastic, customer service oriented people-person, consider joining the dedicated Membership staff at the Lionville Community Y. You'll work at our membership desk welcoming members, conducting facility tours, selling memberships and programs, and building relationships with the community. Excellent Customer Service is our top priority and to provide that you will become thoroughly knowledgeable of Y protocols, procedures, programs and activities.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, 5:0010:00 PM
Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED;
Must be 18 years or older with a HS Diploma of GED.
Excellent customer service skills required.
The Welcome Center is the hub of all Y activities, so excellent communications skills are essential to disseminate information to both members and staff.
Must be a multi-tasker, well-organized with great interpersonal skills, patience and a sense of humor.
High level of competency in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel, as well as good touch-typing skills.
College degree preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
