Bus Driver
The Lionville YMCA is looking for a bus driver to bus children between Downingtown elementary schools and from Downingtown West Middle School to the Y . The driver will also drive participants of our Open Doors program 3 out of 4 Friday evenings per month, 6:00-10:00 PM. This position runs through the year, Monday through Friday 2:00-4:00 PM. Shifts may be shared by 2 drivers.
Requirements:
21 years of age
3 years experience
CDL driver's license with passenger and school bus endorsements for a 22 passenger bus and 72 passenger bus
Good driving record
PA State Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances
Current physical
Responsibilities:
Arrive in enough time before trip to prepare and check the vehicle
Complete daily safety check on bus before beginning transportation
Maintain gasoline in the vehicle
Clean and maintain interior/exterior of vehicle
Report any safety concerns to supervisor immediately
Report any absences to supervisor within 8 hours of shift
Maintain trip schedule for children as scheduled by director and coordinator staff
