Swim Lesson Instructor
Description:
The Lionville Community YMCA is searching for enthusiastic, reliable swim instructors to teach pre-school and youth progressive swim lessons. Previous experience teaching swimming preferred but not required. Responsibilities include the development of participants' skills, ensuring the participants' safety and communicating accurately & positively with parents.
Daytime, evening and weekend availability preferred.
This is a year-round position, approximately 20 hours/week.
Qualifications:
Instructor must be able to demonstrate proficiency in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, sidestroke, treading water and diving. Position requires minimum 8 to 10 hours per week evening and weekend availability.
Must be at least 16 years old.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
