Lifeguard
Description:
The Lionville Community YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and mature individuals to serve as lifeguards. Duties include maintaining a safe environment for our pool, communicating with patrons and working as a team with other staff. The Lifeguard will be responsible for the guarding and safety of members within all aquatic facilities including enforcement of all aquatic policies and procedures. Must be responsible, punctual, able to focus on task of guarding without distraction and able to communicate with members of all ages in a positive, firm manner about pool safety issues.
Qualifications:
Current Lifeguarding certifications required: American Red Cross, Ellis or YMCA Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED/Oxygen Administration. Position requires minimum of 10 hours per week, evening and weekend availability.
Must be at least 16 years old.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
