PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

The Project Superintendent is responsible for the coordination and supervision of field activities related to physical construction of the project. This relates not only to the orchestration of the
trades and manpower requirements, but also quality and safety on the project site. The Project Superintendent must work closely with the Project Manager in planning, developing the project
schedules, and developing or forwarding requests for information to the Assistant Project Manager for processing. He or she is also responsible for profit/loss from the standpoint of
schedule, labor, materials, and subcontractor management.
Essential Functions:
Verifies subcontract and insurance are in place prior to sub work commencing
Daily oversight of the field operations and trades
Works with project team to develop site specific project manual
Monitor subcontractor progress and manpower
Creates Two Week Look ahead schedules and coordinates with master schedule
Develops project workflow to maximize subcontractor production when possible
Keep detailed daily field work reports of manpower and progress
Assist in material expediting
Assist in the technical aspects of the submittal review
Verifies project layout
Reviews and understand subcontractor scopes of work
Manage project quality
Oversee daily project safety management
Enforces project specific and corporate safety requirements
Completes subcontractor orientations
Participate in pre-installation conferences
Identifies and communicates potential scope issues to the Project Manager prior to work commencing
Monitor and review T&M work Ensures CE number on ticket prior to signoff
Complete and cost code labor timesheets
Verify and cost code material delivery tickets for purchases
Work with Project Manager for site logistics planning
Provide preconstruction site evaluation photos/video
Complete weekly progress photos
Identify & communicate corporate photo opportunities(large crane lifts, equipment deliveries)
Conduct routine planning and safety meetings
Evaluate performance of subcontractors
Ensure timely punch list completionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
