Sports Referee
The Lionville Community YMCA is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic youth sports referee to officiate a variety of sports including, but not limited to, soccer, basketball and flag football. Work with children ages 4-12 years of age.
Work 3-5 hours/week; must have some Saturday availability
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Prior knowledge and minimum 2 years experience in program area.
Qualified candidate must be energetic and outgoing with a basic knowledge of sports; and have a basic knowledge of rules for various sports.
Referee certifications are preferred but not required.
Prior participation as an athlete/coach in a recreational, high school or collegiate program in sports preferred.
Previous refereeing experience with players at the Elementary/Middle School level preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
