School Age Child Care Teacher
Help give the school-age kids a great start or conclusion to their school day! Lionville Community YMCA's School Age child Care Program wants a dedicated, enthusiastic Teacher to provide before and/or after school care at the Lionville Community Y site. You can make a difference! Under the direction of the Senior Program Director for Youth Development, the successful candidate will assist in providing safe, high quality care to each child in his/her class, contributing to a safe, nurturing environment and high quality program. Duties consist of dispensing snacks, facilitating with gym & playground games as well as helping with homework.
Monday through Friday, morning and afternoon shifts available. Candidate should have flexibility to work longer hours when the Downingtown schools are closed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Human Services or related field with 30 credit hours in ECE.
Must have ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents. Previous experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
