The General Manager (manufacturing background) will not operate with autonomy in the US, but rather in concert with directives from the parent company
Experience working with a foreign parent company - preferably in a manufacturing environment
Ability to manage a staff
Good people skills
Proven sales skills
Basic accounting knowledge (QuickBooks a plus) as well as a general understanding of commercial processes
Willingness to travel (approximately 10% on average) - valid passport
College graduate or equivalent experience
German language skills a plus, but not mandatory
Initial telephone interviews are acceptable, but all final interviews will be conducted in the Exton office.
How many direct reports: 4 direct reports.
Certifications needed: No certifications needed.
Report to office/Work from home: Report to office in Exton.
Travel/Territory: 10%. Needs a passport, corporate is in Germany. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
